2008 NJ Grade School Championship

The 2008 NJ Grade School Championship was held on November 23rd. We are very pleased with how our students did out of a field of almost 400! We would like to congratulate all that attended this event and hope to see more of you next year. Though many students did extremely well, we would like to make note of the following players:
Aravind Kumar - 1st Place -1st Grade
Christopher Wu- 1st Place-4th Grade
Yuvik Umapathy- 1st Place-5th Grade

Results from Saturday's 4th Mt. Horeb Scholastic have been posted on the chess downloads page. The Grand Prix standings have also been updated.
Congratulations to all who participated. It was an excellent event and many players had phenomenal results!

4th Mt. Horeb Scholastic Update

Online registration is now closed for the 4th Mt. Horeb Scholastic Tournament to be held on November 22nd. You may register on-site from 8:30-9:00 am. The school is located at:

Water Main Break Cancels Schools

Due to a water main break, chess class has been canceled for Orchard Hill Elementary School in Skillman, NJ. A make-up class will be scheduled.
