1st Dean of Chess Academy/TransNet FIDE Invitational

The pairings for our first FIDE invitational have been posted. This nine round, round-robin will begin on July 11th. All are welcome to attend this unique event.

Three-peat for Christopher Wu

Christopher Wu has once again won the Tournament of Champions. Held at our Branchburg center on Saturday, June 13th, Christopher went home with the $500 top prize a return trip to this tournament next year.

Copper State International Begins Tomorrow

Dean is currently in sunny Arizona with temperatures in the 90s. He didn't just go to enjoy the weather though. Dean is among 35 accomplished players including some of the world's top performers. The field includes many Grandmasters and International Masters.

Congratulations are also extended to the Orchard School Chess Club for pulling off another Grand Prix Championship!

What a tough tournament!

You know the US Championship is tough this year when a four-time US Champion is playing on the last board. And when the former Soviet and US Champion is on the second to last board.

Misprint on Mongtomery Camp Form

There is a misprint on the Montgomery Summer Camp form. The Morning session will run from 8 am to 11 am. Also, a discount will be given when registering for multiple 2009 summer camps.

Online registration is closed for the 1st Holland Brook Scholastic. You may still register on-site from 8:30-9:00 am on January 25th.
